With close to twenty years of experience in the modern design trade Modernisten was founded by Isak Ström in 2015. Driven by the passion for design pieces we strive to find, refine and present new and interesting design items from the 20th century with focus on Scandinavia. We seek objects that are equally great in both aesthetics as well as material and execution. Our main focus is interior with furniture and lighting as our biggest categories. With a deep appreciation for crafts and art we also present a selection of Scandinavian art and hand crafted objects.

Modernisten is and online gallery based in Stockholm city. Our Showroom is located in Frihamnsgatan 56, Magasin 6. Beside our online trade we occasionally do Antique fairs, trade shows and other physical events.
